Amy Leah Photography: Personal

Saturday morning's with GiGi. Here in the Sanchez home we have a tradition...Coffee every Saturday morning at 10:30 with Christopher's grandma! Grams to the old kids, GiGi to the new little ones. Its become a routine of ours, a way to stay connected and spend time with family. No matter what a week looks like to Christopher or I, we both know we have Saturday morning to unwind with a cup-o-jo and shoot the breeze with his sweet GiGi Charlotte. It usually ends up that we grab a burrito at Carambas after drinking coffee under the misters. The company fluctuates from saturday to saturday but the tradition stays the same. I love it! These are the moments we will all look back on and remember. Its cheesy but some events are just events and some become a memory. One day I can say "when Christopher and I were dating, married and when we had our first babies (maybe ;) ), we always had Saturdays with GiGi." I love it. It was fun to document this tradition with my new camera to get a little practice in with all  the new doo-dads and wingdings on this thing! I love progressive photos so be prepared to see our Saturday in action! Take a peak into our Saturday tradition: Enjoy :)

Love big mushy cookie smiles :O)

Amy Leah Photography: Arizona Wedding Photographer

This year has been crazy it seems. With a new management position at work, being a part of a growing church, joining a Surge table.... I feel like I just don't have the time of day! I love photography. I adore it. It breaks my heart that I don't always have the time to share my stuff and talk about one of the things I love the most! But here we are...7 sessions to blogged in the last 2 hours, new equipment in the mail- and a heavy prayer on my heart that the Lord will grant me more time in the future for blogging. I love it all- the details, the memories, the laughter, the tears, the ooo's ahhhh's and smiles after a client gets to view their photos. I love photography. From this point I am going to just have to trust that the Lord will provide the time to blog as he continues to provide the sessions! Its a good busy when you get to pursue what you love.

Definitely keep checking back- I will be launching a new blog design, new logo and new sessions in the coming months! Amy Leah Photography isn't going anywhere but where the Lord leads! Thank you to everyone who continue to support and love me through this journey!

NOW TO THE BLOGGING:

DROOOOOOLLLLL. Ok thats gross. But really, I just drool over this wedding. All the stunning details, from the bride's gold plated china from her mother to the flowers and the attire for the entire crew...everything was absolutely stunning. AND we got to shoot with horses! I absolutely love horses. I know deep in my heart that I was made to be a horse owner, but my husband Christopher would politely but fervently disagree lol. Ami and Dan's stunning wedding in North Phoenix was absolutely everything a fairytale wedding is meant to be, not to mention Ami and Dan basically won the genetic lottery with their stunning good looks. There children will be blessed with beautiful european features and beautiful flowing hair! I don't want to keep you much longer because you are going to want to see this!!

I just love weddings...and shoes..and dresses and details...GOSH this wedding had it all! From stunning blue heels to a gorgeous wedding gown with crystal details, Otnel and Jeanette's wedding was stunning! We had so much fun running around downtown phoenix for their wedding photography. Arizona summer weddings can be a lot to handle but the weather was great as was the spirits of everyone involved! Again, I was shooting with the wonderful Jenny Tarau and we had the privilege of working with Genearo Giurgiu of ZoMei Video Productions as well. We all had a really fun day working to capture the beautiful wedding events that carried throughout the day. Enjoy :)

Amy Leah Photography: Arizona Senior Photograher

Take a look at this guy- what a handsome man! I bet he takes after an older brother....yea thats it. HA! Meet my brother in law, Benjamin. The next boy down from my husband Christopher (Where he gets his good looks lol). In the family he is known as Beans, but now that he is college bound, Benjamin seems more appropriate.

We ventured off to take his senior pictures just last month! This guy comes from Northwest Christian School Class of 2012. The boy knowns how to model, though he has scarcely been in front of a camera, he was definitely working the serious face! We had so much fun with his Tommy Bahama beach outfit, his stunner suit jacket and even some fun in his baseball attire. Overall, I love taking pictures of my family and this session was just a blast.

Benjamin will be joining other college freshman at ASU Main next fall with a full scholarship! We are all so excited for him and everything he is going to accomplish. Enjoy :)
